Abatement of revenue demand on interruption of water supply

If compensation is awarded under section 29 on account of a stoppage or diminution of supply of water to any land paying land revenue to the Government and the amount of the land revenue payable on account of such land has been fixed with reference to the water advantages appertaining thereto, the holder of the said land shall be entitled to an abatement of the amount of land revenue payable to such extent as shall be determined by the Collector of the District. The inquiry to be made under the proviso to section 58 shall be a formal inquiry in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Land Revenue Code, 1969.
