Extension of Powers of Attorney Act, 1882, to Goa, Daman and Diu.

The Powers of Attorney Act, 1882 (Central Act 7 of 1882) as in force in the territories to which it generally extends, is hereby extended to, and shall be in

4. force in Goa, Daman and Diu, subject to the modifications that, in section 4 of the said Act,—

1. (a) for the words “High Court” wherever they occur, the words “Judicial Commissioner’s Court” shall be substituted;
2. (b) for the words “State Government”, the words “Government of the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu” shall be substituted.
