Aims, objects and composition of society

Any seven or more persons associated for––

1. (a) any literary, scientific or charitable purpose; or
2. (b) military orphan funds; or
3. (c) the promotion of science, literature, or the fine arts for instruction, the diffusion of useful knowledge, the diffusion of political education; or
4. (d) the foundation or maintenance of libraries or reading rooms for general use among the members or open to the public; or
5. (e) public museums and galleries of paintings and other works of art, collections of natural history, mechanical and philosophical inventions, instruments, or designs; or
6. (f) the promotion of conservation and sustainable use of natural resources such as, land, water, forests and wildlife; or
7. (g) the formation of welfare associations of flats, tenements, condominiums or floor space owners, may, by subscribing their names to a Memorandum of Association, and filing the same with the Registrar General, form themselves into a society under this Regulation.
