Statutory text

(1) Subject to the provisions of the M.P. Shops and Establishments Act, 1973 (1974, No. 2), every employee shall be entitled to leave as prescribed. (2) The provisions under sub-section (1) shall be adhered to by the employer. (3) An employee shall be entitled to casual leave and sickness leave as mentioned. (4) The rules regarding such leave shall be as prescribed. (6) Leave records shall be maintained. (7) An employee shall be paid for the period of leave as prescribed. (8) The employer shall provide the leave as per the rules.
