Dispute between Corporation and local authorities.--
The Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956Chapter XXXV SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS
If any dispute arises between the Corporation and any local authorities as regards anything done or to be done under this Act, it shall be referred to the Government for decision and such decision may include an order as to the costs of any enquiry ordered by the Government, and shall be final: Provided that it shall be competent to the Corporation and the local authority to agree in writing that any such dispute shall, instead of being referred to the Government for decision, be referred to the decision of an arbitrator or arbitrators appointed under the Arbitration Act 1940, or to a Civil Court under Section 90 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
