The Chhattisgarh Kamadhenu University (Amendment) Act, 2020
Education20202 sections
This law amends the Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya Act of 2011 by changing the official name of the institution. The university's title is updated to "Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya" to reflect respect and honor for the late leader. The amendment replaces the former "Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu" designation throughout the existing law with this new, more personalized name. It applies to the entire state and comes into effect immediately upon its publication in the official gazette. The change ensures the institution is legally recognized by the new title.
