This Act vests the properties of the former Bettiah Raj estate in the State of Bihar. A Special Officer identifies the properties and hears objections, and the Collector can take possession, deal with existing leases and recover money in pending cases. The Collector then manages the properties, and appeals and revisions lie to the Board of Revenue.
