The Board of Planning

The Board of Planning. —

1. (1) The Board of Planning shall be the principal body for preparing plans for the growth and development of the University to achieve its objectives.
2. (2) Board of Planning shall be constituted consisting of the following: -
   • (i) The Chancellor;
   • (ii) Minister, Department of Finance, Government of Bihar;
   • (iii) Minister, Department of Education, Government of Bihar;
   • (iv) Minister, Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar;
   • (v) The Vice-Chancellor;
   • (vi) Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar;
   • (vii) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/Secretary, Department of Finance, Government of Bihar;
   • (viii) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/Secretary, Department of Education, Government of Bihar;
   • (ix) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/Secretary, Labour Resources Department, Government of Bihar;
   • (x) Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Government of Bihar;
   • (xi) Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Patna
   • (xii) Director, National Institute of Technology, Patna
   • (xiii) Director, Chandragupta Institute of Management, Patna
   • (xiv) Director, Tool Room & Training Center (TRTC), Patna
   • (xv) Two eminent Professors of Human Resources Development nominated by the Chancellor;
   • (xvi) Nominee of All India council for Technical Education;
   • (xvii) Nominee of University Grant Commission; (xviii) The Registrar of the University.
3. (3) The Planning Board shall meet once in a year and develop plans on the future programmes of the University and recommend the same to the Academic Council and Executive Council.
