Amendment in section 3 of Bihar Act 6,1999

Amendment in section 3 of Bihar Act 6,1999.- In chapter II of the said act sub

section

1. (3) shall be added after sub section
2. (2) of section 3 in following manner:- “3
   • (i) With effect from the date of enforcement of the present amending Act, the existing Bihar State Women Commission shall stand dissolved.
   • (ii) On dissolution of Bihar State Women Commission, the State Government shall appoint an administrator to manage the affairs of the Commission. The Administrator of the Commission shall not be below the rank of Secretary to the Government.
   • (iii) The State Government shall have the authority to issue directions/ advisory to the Administrator and such directions/advisory shall be binding on the Administrator.”
