This Act sets up the Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission to select candidates for Group 'C' posts in the Home (Police) Department and similar posts in other State departments. It covers the tenure and age limits of the Commission's Chairman and Members, its staff and finances, the cadres it recruits for and its selection procedure. Pending selection processes were transferred to the Commission.
