Preamble. Preamble To provide for better regulation of fire fighting, carrying out fire fighting measures, enforcing fire safety measures in any building, enforcing effective fire prevention and fire safety in all types of buildings, premises and temporary structures and for modern organisational structures of the Bihar Fire Service in the State of Bihar. Be it enacted by the legislature of the State of Bihar in the sixty fifth year of the Republic of India as follows :-
