THE BIHAR APPROPRIATION ACT, 2020 AN ACT TO AUTHORISE PAYMENT AND APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN AMOUNT FROM AND OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND OF THE STATE OF BIHAR FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE YEAR ENDING THE THIRTYFIRST DAY OF MARCH, 2020. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Bihar in the seventy-first year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called the Bihar Appropriation Act, 2020.
2. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the state of Bihar.
3. (3) It shall come intoforce with effect from 1st April 2019.

Sixty eight crore Fifty two lakh and Fifty eight Thousand), out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar for the year 2019-20.- Total Rs.- 8868,52,58,000 (Eight thousand Eight hundred Sixty eight crore Fifty two lakh and Fifty eight Thousand), which will not be more than the amount mentioned in column-6 of the schedule of this Act from The Consolidated Fund of The State of Bihar to meet various expenses to be incurred related to the payment during the year commencing from 1st April, 2019 in relation to the services mentioned in column-2 of the Schedule of this Act.

Consolidated Fund of the State of Bihar under this Act will be for the purposes and services mentioned in the Schedule concerned related to the year commencing from first day of April, 2019 and will be appropriated in respect of them.
