Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be ap- pointed for different area in the State.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) "Assets" means all immovable assets in the Municipality; (ii) "Municipality" means an institution of self-Government constituted under Article 243,Q of the Constitution of India;
