Powers and duties of officers

1. (1) The Superintendent of the Armed Police or any other officer of the Armed Police shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are conferred or imposed on him by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force.
2. (2) An officer of the Armed Police shall be deemed to be always on duty and may at any time be employed in any part of the Union territory.
3. (3) No officer of the Armed Police shall engage himself in any employment or office other than his duties under this Act.
