Amendment of certain enactments -The enactment specified in the Schedule are hereby amended to the extent in the manner mentioned in fifth column thereof. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section

1. (1) of this section, in all the Laws, Acts and Regulations not covered by this Act, but extended and made applicable to the State of Arunachal Pradesh by virtue of Section 46 of the Arunachal Pradesh Statehood Act, 1986 (Act No. 69 of 1986) or any other Enactments, for the words and corresponding sections of "the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (|PC) (Act No. 45 of 1860)" "the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
   • (CrPC) (Act No. 2 of 1974)" and "the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 (Act No. 1 of 1872), wherever appear, the words, "the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
   • (BNS) (Act No. 45 of 2023)" " the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
   • (BNSS) (Act No. 46 of 2023)" and "the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023
   • (BSA) (Act No. 47 of 2023)" with their COrresponding Sections shall be substituted for their application in the State of Arunachal Pradesh.
