Amendment of Act 2 of 1965

Amendment of Act 2 of 1965: In the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, in section 14-A, for sub-section (1), the following shall be substituted, namely:

1. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Government may, by notification, appoint any officer or authority as the Election Authority to perform the functions of elections to the Municipalities under this Act and the rules made thereunder.
