Casual Vacancy in the council

A casual vacancy in the council shall be filled up, as far as may be, in the manner provided in sub-section (2) of section 5 for the unexpired term of the member whose place has fallen vacant. The members of cane growers co-operative society who cultivate cane in a factory zone shall be entitled to supply cane to the factory concerned.
