Exemption of Property Tax

"Exemption of property Tax. 202-A

1. (1) The Government may exempt any residential building occupied by the owner from the property tax where the annual rental value of the same does not exceed rupees six hundred.
2. (2) In respect of every house constructed for the urban poor, the Corporation shall collect an amount of rupee two for every half year towards property tax;"
