Bare Act
The Andhra Pradesh Minorities Component (Outlay, Allocation and Utilization of Financial Resources) Act, 2022
This Act establishes a structured financial framework in Andhra Pradesh to ensure dedicated funding for the development of minority communities. It mandates that the State Government earmark a specific portion of the annual budget for Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and State Development Plan (SDP) schemes to bridge development gaps between minorities and state averages. By creating institutional bodies like the State Council for Development of Minorities and District Monitoring Committees, the law ensures transparency, accountability, and targeted resource allocation. For citizens, this means more equitable access to government welfare schemes and infrastructure development specifically designed to uplift minority households and habitations.
