Amendment of section 3, Act IV of 1959

2. In the Andhra Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board Act, 1959 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 3,--

1. (i) for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:-- "(2) The Board shall consist of,--

1. (a) the Chairman to be appointed by the Government; and
2. (b) such other members, not exceeding nine, as may be appointed by the Government from among persons who, in the opinion of the Government, are qualified as having had experience and shown capacity in matters relating to Khadi and Village Industries: Provided that three of such members shall be appointed from among the officers of the Government of whom one shall be the representative of the Industries Department, one shall be the representative of the Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) Department and one shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.";
