The Andhra Pradesh Karshaka Parishad Act, 1987 and the Andhra Pradesh Karshaka Parishad (Second Amendment) Act, 1988 are hereby repealed.

Consequence of repeal Consequence of repeal:

1. (1) On the commencement of this Act, the Andhra Pradesh Karshaka Parishad and Allied Bodies Act, 1988 (Act 18 of 1988) shall stand repealed.
2. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Act, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh (Agricultural Produce and Livestock) Markets Act, 1966 (Act 16 of 1966).
