The Andhra Pradesh Gift Goods (Prevention of Unlawful Possession) Act, 1965

This Act stops the unlawful sale and possession of "gift goods" distributed through the organisations listed in its Schedule. Selling, buying or transporting such goods without authority is an offence, and anyone found in possession of them must prove they came by them lawfully, or face up to two years in prison, a fine of up to one thousand rupees, or both. Offences are cognizable, and the State Government can add organisations to or remove them from the Schedule.
