The Registrar

(1) The Registrar shall be appointed in such manner as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (2) The Registrar shall have the power to enter into agreement, sign on documents and authenticate records on behalf of the University and shall exercise such powers and discharge such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes. (1) The Academic Council shall consist of the following members namely,- (a) the Vice-Chancellor of the University; (b) Vice Chairman & Managing Director, New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh; (c) the Directors of Research and Extension; (d) the Deans of the various faculties; (e) the Dean of Student Affairs; (f) the University Heads of Department; (g) the Associate Directors of Research; (h) the Controller of Examinations; (i) two members of the Executive Council nominated by the vice-Chancellor; (j) four persons having special knowledge or practical experience in different aspects of Energy with specialized focus on Renewable Energy nominated by the Vice-Chancellor. (2) All members of the Academic council, other than the ex-officio members, shall hold office for a term of three years. (3) Ten members of the Academic Council shall form quorum for a meeting of the Academic Council.
