Registrar, officers and servants of the Board.—

1. (1) The Board shall, with the previous approval of the Government, appoint a Registrar.
2. (2) The Registrar shall receive such salary and allowances and be subject to such conditions of service as may be prescribed.
3. (3) The Board may appoint such other officers and servants as it may consider necessary for the purposes of this Act: Provided that the number and designations of such officers and servants and their salaries and allowances shall be subject to the previous approval of the Government.
4. (4) The Registrar and all other officers and servants appointed under this section shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860).
