2. Amendment of section 2 of West Ben. Act XXXII of 2001.
In clause (2a) of section 2 ofthe West Bengal Thika Tenancy (Acquisition and Regulation) Act, 2001 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), after the words "local authority", the words "or Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority" shall be inserted.

3. Amendment of section 6A.
I sub-section (2) ofsection 6A ofthe principal Act, afterthewords "or any local authority of the concerned area", the words "or Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority" shall be inserted.
