(c) Ex-officio Chief Executive Officer/Ex-office Director General Tourism” shall also function as Head of the Department for the execution of service matters of all the Government servants working in the Directorate of Tourism at that time. (4) If the Chief Executive Officer is temporarily absent or temporarily incapacitated by reason of illness or for any other reason is temporarily unable to perform his duties, a person may be appointed by the Board/ Government to act in the place of the chief Executive Officer during such period of absence from duty.
