An Act

To establish and incorporate a Private University in the name of University of Engineering and Technology Roorkee with the objective of providing facilities of Education, Training and Research work in Technical Education, Higher Education, Management Education, Law Education, Social Science, General Science, Journals and related areas, sponsored by Seth Roshan Lal Jain Trust, 07 KM Roorkee Haridwar Road, Vardhmanpuram, Roorkee, District Haridwar registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.

It is hereby enacted by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly in the Seventy First Year of the Republic of India as follows;
