THE UTTARAKHAND RIVER VALLEY (DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT) ACT, 2005 [Uttarakhand Act No. 06 of 2005]

For the sustainable development and proper management of River Valley with special reference to the Bhagirathi River Valley up an down stream of Tehri Dam including its Catchments & command Areas in the State of Uttarakhand.

AN ACT

It is Hereby enacted by the Uttarakhand legislative Assembly in the Fifty-fifth year of the Republic of India as follow:-

Chapter-I Preliminary
