Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Rules, 2011 (Amendment) Rules, 2024

(1) These rules may be called the Uttarakhand State Protection of Cow Progeny (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) It shall come into force at once.

In the Uttarakhand State Protection of Cow Progeny Rules 2011, for the existing rule 29 as setout in column-1 below rule as setout in column-2 shall be substituted; namely- Column-1 Existing Rules 29.(1) All the applications shall be examined by competent authority. After examination of all the issues related to these applications by the competent authority the following committee shall select the organizations for grant of Government aid :- (a) Minister, Animal Husbandry, Government of Uttarakhand - Chairperson (b) Chairperson, Uttarakhand GausewaAyog - Member (c) Deputy Chairperson, Uttarakhand GausewaAyog - Member (d) Deputy Chairperson, Uttarakhand Animal Welfare Board - Member (e) Secretary, Animal husbandry, Government of Uttarakhand - Secretary (f) Head of Department, Department of Animal husbandry, Uttarakhand - Member Secretary (g) Secretary, Uttarakhand GausewaAyog - Member (h) Secretary, Uttarakhand Animal Welfare Board - Member. Column-2 Rules Hereby substituted All the applications shall be examined bythe District Magistrate through the nominated officer. After examination the following selection committee shall select the organizations for grant of Government aid in accordance of the relevant Government orders of Animal Husbandry department :- (a) District Magistrate- Chairperson (b) Chief Development Officer-Member Secretary (c) Municipal Commissioner /Executive Officer, Concerned Municipal Body- Member (d) Additional Chief Officer, District Panchayat- Member (e) All Subdivisional Magistrate-Member (f) Chief Veterinary Officer- Technical Member (g) District Development Officer- Member (h) District Panchayati Raj Officer- Member (i) Divisional Forest Officer-Member
