Section 11A

Whoever contravenes or attempts to contravene the provisions of section 7 or section 8, shall be guilty. In this case compounding of the offense may be imposed by Mukhya Nagar Adhikari or Executive Officer or any police officer of the local police station who is not below the rank of Sub Inspector. For such an offense, penalty equivalent to half of the maximum fine provision shall be imposed; Limitation is that, once the offense gets under the trial in the court, no compounding shall be permissible.
