Uttarakhand Private University (Amendment) Act, 2024

This law amends the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act of 2023 to update the list of recognized private universities in the state. It changes the names of two existing institutions, Himgiri Zee University to Jigyasa University and Himalayiya University to Sparsh Híimalaya University. Additionally, it adds a new university, Amrapali University, to the official register. The Act also introduces four new private universities, including Mind Power University, DBS Global University, Maya Devi University, and Smt. Manjira Devi University, by listing their sponsoring bodies and main campuses. This ensures the state's official record reflects the current educational landscape.
