Uttarakhand Noti. regarding Determination of registration fee in Uniform Civil Code

A. MARRIAGE: 1. Fees under rule 9(11)(a) and 9(11)(b) marriage /acknowledgement of registered marriage: 250/-. 2. Fees under rule 9(11)(d) for registration of marriage /acknowledgement of registered marriage, (Tatkal): 2500/-. 3. Late fee under rule 9(11)(c) shall be chargeable over and above registration fee and calculated for delay up to 90 days: 200/-, and Beyond 90 days: 400/- (for each completed and partially completed quarter year of delay) maximum upto Rs. 10,000/-. B. DIVORCE: 4. Fees under Rule 10(7)(a) for Registration of Decree of Divorce or Nullity of Marriage: 250/-. 5. Late Fee under Rule 10(7)(b) shall be chargeable over and above registration fee and calculated for delay up to 90 days: 200/-, and Beyond 90 days: 400/- (for each completed and partially completed quarter year of delay) maximum upto Rs. 10,000/-. C. SUCCESSION: 6. Fee under Rule 12(7) for declaration of Legal Heir(s) regarding intestate succession: 250/-. 7. Fees under Rule 14(2)(d) for registration of Testamentary succession statement: 250/-. D. LIVE-IN-RELATIONSHIP: 8. Fees under Rule 15(9) for Registration of Live-in-Relationship: 500/-. 9. Late Fee under Rule 6(4)(e) for Updating Information beyond the Time Period Stipulated: 1000/-. 10. Fees under Rule 16(5) for Termination of Live-in Relationship: 500/-. D. FINE: 11. penalty/fine under Rule 7(1) (e) (i) and 7(1) (e) (ii) for Wilful omission or negligence in registering or acknowledgement of registered marriage: Maximum upto 10000 besides registration fee and late fee. 12. penalty/fine under Rule 7(2)(d)(i) for Wilful omission or negligence in submission of memorandum for registration of decree of divorce or nullification of marriage: Maximum upto 10000 besides registration fee and late fee. 13. Fine under Rule 20(2) for false complaints for second time: 5000/-, and for third time: 10,000/-. 14. Penalty to landlord for violation of certificate/provisional certificate of live-in relationship before entering into a rent agreement under rule 20(8)(c): Maximum upto Rs. 20,000/-. E. FEE FOR OBTAINING CERTIFIED ACCESS: 15. Fees under Rule 20(6)(a) for obtaining certified extracts(open access): 100/-. 16. Fees under Rule 20(6)(b) for obtaining certified extracts(Restricted access): 500/-. 17. Fees under Rule 20(7) to obtain certified copy of declaration of legal heir: 150/-. 18. Fees under rule 20(7) to obtain certified copy of declaration of testamentary document/statement: 150/-.

Those whose marriage was registered or decree of divorce pronounced or nullification of marriage took place before the commencement of this code shall not be charged fee given above for registration/acknowledgement for 06 months from the date of commencement of The Uniform Civil Code Rules, Uttarakhand 2025.
