The Uttarakhand Medicare Service Persons and Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property) Act, 2013

This law protects healthcare workers and facilities in Uttarakhand from violence and property damage. The Act makes it illegal to harm these people or damage medical equipment. Offenders face up to three years in prison, heavy fines, and must pay double the cost of any damaged property.
