Explanation

For the purpose of section 3 and section 6 of the Act wherever the word 'marriage' occurs in the Act, marriage means marriage done as a consequence of conversion from one religion to another religion, which is done with the intention of misrepresentation, force, coercion, allurement or any other fraudulent means.
