Superintendence powers and functions

(1) The superintendence and control of the Uttarakhand Fire & Emergency Service shall vest in the Inspector General. (2) The State Government may appoint such Fire Officers as it may think fit to assist the Inspector General. (3) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (1) and (2), Deputy Director (technical) and the Chief Fire Officer shall exercise such administrative powers and perform such administrative functions as may be prescribed.
