Amendment of section 5 of U.P. Act no. 16 of 1995

For sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Commission for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act, 1995 the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:- "1. (a) The tenure of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman or member, shall be one year from the date of his assuming office. (b) The Chairman, Vice-Chairman or member shall hold his office during the pleasure of the State Government. (c) The Chairman shall not be eligible for reappointment as a member".
