The Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024

(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024. (2) It shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Gazette.

In the Uttar Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Act"), in clause (2) of section 2,- (i) after the word "skilled", the words "semi - skilled" shall be inserted; and (ii) for the words "four hundred", the words "twenty four thousand" shall be substituted.

In sub-section (3) of section 8 of the principal Act, after the words "Additional or Deputy", wherever occurring, the words "or Assistant" shall be inserted.
