Uttar Pradesh Gau-Seva Commission (Amendment) Act, 2024

(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Go-Seva Ayog (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2024. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 17th day of September, 2024.

In section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Go-Seva Ayog Adhiniyam, 1999,- (a) in sub-section (1), for clause (i), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(i) six non-official members nominated by the Government from amongst the following persons, namely:- (i) one representative of the Uttar Pradesh Goshala Sangh established under the Uttar Pradesh Goshala Adhiniyam, 1964; (ii) five persons of whom two shall be agriculturists and three shall be connected with voluntary organisations engaged in welfare, preservation and protection of cows in the State." (b) in sub-section (2), for the words "Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson", the words "Chairperson and two Vice-Chairperson" shall be substituted.

(1) The Uttar Pradesh Go-Sewa Ayog (Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 2024 is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the provisions of the principal Act as amended by the Ordinance referred to in sub-section (1) shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act as amended by this Act as if the provisions of this Act were in force at all material times.
