1. Short title

This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Act, 2025.
2. Amendment of Section 4 of U.P. Act no. 5 of 2004
Statutory text
In Section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2004, in sub-section (3), in clause (c), after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- "Provided further that an additional annual loan limit of 0.50 percent of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) will be available in the financial year 2025-2026 based on the performance criteria in the energy sector."
