The Tripura Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1982

This Act provides for the speedy eviction of unauthorised occupants from public premises in Tripura. Estate Officers can issue show-cause notices, order eviction, remove unauthorised constructions, dispose of property left behind, and recover rent or damages. Their orders can be appealed and are otherwise final.
