The Tripura Police (Second Amendment) Act, 2022

(1) This Act may be called the Tripura Police (Second Amendment) Act, 2022. (2) It shall come into force on and from the date of its publication in the Tripura Gazette.

In section 25 of the Tripura Police Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Act"), for sub-section (2), the following shall be substituted, namely:-- "(2) The State Government shall, for the purpose of selection of the Director General of Police, empanel officers based on their length of service, very good record and range of experience for being considered for appointment as Director General of Police."
