University open to students of all classes and creeds

i) The university shall be open to students of all classes and creeds for the purpose of admissions in academic courses; ii) No person shall, on grounds only for religion, race, caste, decent, place of birth, residence, language, political opinion or any of them, be ineligible for, or discriminated against, in respect of any employment or office under the university or membership of any of the authorities or bodies of the University: Provided that the university shall follow the state reservation policy for the purpose of admission as students in the University; iii) In making appointments for all posts as determined by the Board of Management in any service, class or category under the University, the University shall observe such rules, Acts as are administered by the Government;
