This Act punishes gambling in Tripura. Keeping a common gaming-house is an offence, and certain facts raise a presumption of gaming. Magistrates and the police have powers to enter, search and arrest. Proof that play was for money is not required, but games of mere skill are exempt. The Act also regulates lotteries.
