Chapter I PRELIMINARY
Statutory text
- (1) This Act may be called the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019.
- (2) It shall extend to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir*.
- (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 19th day of September, 2018.
