Chapter III GRAM PANCHAYATS
Statutory text
- (1) The term of office of every Pradhan and Up-Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, cease on the expiry of the term of the Gram Panchayat.
- (2) Pradhan and Up-Pradhan shall be entitled to such honoraria and other allowances, as may be prescribed.
- (3) Every member of the Gram Panchayat shall be entitled to receive such honoraria and allowances as may be fixed by the Government from time to time.
