Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the

Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Act, 1966.

1. (2) It extends to the hill areas in the Union Territory of Manipur.
2. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Administrator may by notification in the official Gazette appoint.
