This Act, from the former State of Madhya Bharat, lets the Government declare an association unlawful if it interferes with the administration of law or the maintenance of law and order, or endangers the public peace. Taking part in, helping or managing an unlawful association is punishable. The Government can notify and take possession of places used by such an association, deal with property found there, and forfeit its funds. These orders cannot be challenged in the civil courts.
