Chapter IV INQUIRY AND INVESTIGATION
Statutory text
- (1) Inquiry and Investigation of the offences -No police officer below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police shall investigate any offence committed under this Act.
- (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the State Government shall have the powers to refer the investigation to any State or Central Investigating Agencies.
