Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

1. (a) “Act” means the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad Act, 1986;
2. (b) “Commissionerate” means the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad an autonomous Grant-in-Aid organizatIon as referred to in sub-section (1 ) of section 3 of the Act;
3. (c) “Directorate” means the Directorate of Secondary Health to be created as one of the Head of the Department of Health Medical and Family Welfare Department;
4. (d) “Government” means the State Government of Telangana;
5. (e) “Notification” means a notification published in the Telangana Gazette and the word “notified” shall be construed accordingly;
6. (f) “Prescribed” means prescribed by rules made by the Government.
