Constitution of Tribunal and officers and servants of the tribunal.
The Telangana Urban Areas (Development) Act, 1975(1) The Government may constitute as many Tribunals as may be necessary for deciding disputes relating to levy or assessment of development charges. (2) The Tribunal shall consist of one person only who shall be a judicial officer not below the rank of Subordinate Judge. (3) The Tribunal shall have the same powers as are vested in a Civil Court under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908. (4) Each Tribunal shall have jurisdiction over such area as the Government may, by notification, from time to time determine. (5) The Tribunal may, with the previous sanction of the Government, appoint such officers and servants as it considers necessary for carrying on its business, and the remuneration and other conditions of service of such officers and servants shall be such as may be prescribed.
